Default Help matching spring base and seals to valve springs

I picked up an LS1 out of a '98 Camaro, and it came with a set of Patriot 8501 springs. They came with titanium retainers, but did not come with the locks, seals, and bases that it should. I haven't torn apart the valvetrain yet, so I'm unfamiliar with how they all work together, and therefore I also can't take a pair of calipers to things.

I'm not getting a definitive answer on how large the OD of spring bases should be, to properly locate the spring in the spring bucket. I found some valve bases here that have the proper spring ID (0.505"), but I'm unsure about the ID for the valve seal, and if the 1.300" OD is proper for seating in the bucket.

Do I then need seals that match this valve base?

I found that they need 7 degree locks, can factory locks be used since they are also 7 degree? I'm unfamiliar if the lock to retainer geometry is changed on aftermarket retainers.

Thanks for the help

You need these locators: http://www.briantooleyracing.com/spr...060-thick.html

These seals: http://www.briantooleyracing.com/ls-valve-seal-kit.html
Or these seals if you prefer blue: http://www.briantooleyracing.com/ls-...-kit-blue.html

And these locks because the Patriot retainers used "Super 7" locks, not GM locks like our kits: http://www.briantooleyracing.com/sup...set-of-32.html
