Ok, so i did my LS7 cam in my LS1. shes got 243 heads with PAC 1218 springs, 1.7 rockers and fast 92mm intake and tb. 160 degree t stat and hooker longtubes. this car is freaking unreal! it runs like whoa...in a good way! but like all gearheads, i want more. its early summer and im starting to save for my next build. i want more cubes under the hood. im debating between a 6.0 iron block or boring the existing LS1 aluminium block. not sure if i wanna go full stroker kit, but im not ruling it out. My ideal build is as follows..
if i stay ls1 block
MAST motorsports black label L76(small bore) heads
stroker kit
current LS7 cam(i DD this car)
ls3 stock intake with DBC TB
KOOKS 1 7/8 long tubes
possibly dry sump setup
if i go 6.0 block...
ported L76 heads(full size)
block punched .030 over
stroker kit
LS7 dry sump
LS7 cam(again...i DD this car)
FAST 102mm intake with 102mm tb
bar link lifters
kooks 1 7/8 headers
what would you do?

Either of those heads is going to be pointless with an LS7 cam.
If you're going to spend that much money, why not go forced induction?
You could do a turbo setup for the cost of Mast black label heads and make twice the power with much better street manners.
