Let us know what you decide after talking with Tick. I ordered the Polluter V2 the same day I totaled mine, so didn't get a chance to run it. I'm eager to see what you go with.

I'm confused. Polluter V2 or SNS V2?

SNS is a great choice for 346 CI

The polluter and sns are two very different cams, which one are you looking at? I'm with Darth, the SNS would be an alright choice.

So you talked to them and got a different cam coming...good to hear! I'm still just surprised anybody over there would've recommended the polluter in the first place. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt this time and assume there was some miscommunication.

Try to remember to come back and update the thread. So often I see threads asking about head cam advice, everybody pitches in their opinion, then the thread goes dark. If you get the thing dyno'd, come back and tell us what it made and how it drives, that way somebody reading in 2026 knows how it turned out and doesn't have to bring back a thread from the dead.

Good deal! You will be much happier in the end. I do not know how many times I have seen folks over cam their engine over the years. Bigger ain't always better...just most of the time.

Unfortunately these parts are being stockpiled for later.....unless you guys want to sponsor it lol. I will try for late summer......still need a 3600 stall and then the games begin. Tuning and miscellaneous will be another grand on top also. But I will get numbers up when I am done. This is a great tool to have when you can weed out some of the egos. Lol

The SNS Torquemax 2? Which one did you go with? I'm on the Tick site and they have two version of the SNS V2... 227/235 .618/.605 110+3 or the 226/234 .60x/.61x 110.

If you Post your own thread with your goals and specs you'll get better feedback...loads of people that would help get a cam unique for you!

Definitely not trying to hijack... just curious as to which one (standard or mild) he went with. I'll be placing an order with Tick or RCI soon. Just "archiving" all the info I can beforehand.

Wasn't saying you were hijacking. Your question was totally fine. I just meant if you wanted more info, you could post your own and get more detail. Not trying to shuffle you out of the thread, sorry if it came off like that

Out of curiosity at what point would a Pollutor V2 become a decent streetable cam? I'm certainly no expert but am knowledgeable enough to look at that cam's specs and tell that they are too aggressive for a reasonable street cam in a stock displacement LS1. Would say a LS1 with a 4" stroke or maybe a 408 ci setup running any given set of port and/or aftermarket heads/ported FAST 102 intake 102 mm TB setup, etc work well with a cam spec'd like this one, or would you need LS7 type displacement to justify a cam like this on a street car?

I'm not trying to build a motor around this or any other given cam as I wouldn't build a motor around a camshaft, this is just for learning purposes. Lol

I've never seen anyone not make great number and have nothing but good things to say about it. I basically decided between that and the futral f13, futrals site wasn't working properly when I went to order, came out with that instead. I ran the f13 in my last car and it was awesome so I have no doubt this one will be amazing as well even though it's a smidge bigger.

that would be a good street cam for a 370+ ci with cathedrals.

I agree. That's why I'm the 111lsa version of it on a 375, 11.5:1 motor in my daily. I'm two weeks out from getting everything put back together. I will make a thread specific to my engine build soon.
