Default Need help with cam choice

Ok so I threw a rod through the block on my ls1 this past Sunday so now in going with a lq4 and was wondering what cam is popular in the 6.0 world for 1/4 mile racing. My last setup was just a btr stage 3 n/a cam with every bolt on except the ported throttle body and underdrive pulley stock 799 heads, stock ls6 intake, FTI 4400 converter and it ran 11.37 at 117. So my goal is to run 11.0-11.1x with everything else the same except for cam and cubes. Much help would be appreciated.

Will you be running the stock LQ4 heads?

Honestly, I would call Martin Smallwood and have him spec you a cam. Or just use the BTR3 in the six liter, since you are using the same heads/intake/stall.

The BTR stg3 is 231/242, .617/.592, 112 so if you want some a little bigger:
You might look at the Street Sweeper 236/240, .630/.610, 111
Or the MS3 237/242, .603/.609, 112

But having a custom cam spec'ed by Martin on a Cam Motion core will always be your best bet.

Definitely best to ask the experts, but that 6.0 will definitely absorb more cam than the 5.7

If the BTR Stage III Cam is still good, I would run it but change out
The LS6 intake for a Tony Mamo ported FAST 102 with a V Max
Velocity Ring and a 90/92 TB.
Just my .02 and worth what you paid for it. lol

The cam is junk and I'm talking to Tooley right now about a custom grind cam on a cam motion core. So I should be able to meet my goal for a motor build.
