suggestions on where to get used 243 heads?
I went to my local parts store to check on a price for a set of manufactured 243/799 heads just to get an idea. they were like 500 bucks a piece.
there were a few that were 250 a piece that were possibly uneven.
Im not trying to single out the places that people dont recommend to offend, but what sites have people found decent priced place to buy them and trustworthy?

I honestly think the can be had cheaper than 300 bucks? Best thing to do do is get in a gas saver you have or a close friend have. Fill the tank up and ride to all surrounding junk yards and look one by one at vehicles that came from the factory with 243/799 heads. Some junk yards you can pull them yourself and some junk yards don't pay attention to casting numbers. Give it a shot. I know a junk yard right now that think EVERY 5.3 motor is the same but you know they not. Good luck.
