408 ticking drivers side

Installed 408 lq9 recently and I'm getting a ticking or tapping sound just seems to be drivers side . Any ideas or things to check

Pull the valve covers and make sure all the rockers are tight. Did you measure for the correct pushrod length when you assembled everything?

I would pull off valve covers and make sure there's not a loose rocker or pushrod issue.

Maybe collapsed lifter.
Pull valve cover on driver side. See if any rockers have up and down play.

me too. I think. Litter tick on drivers side. Tick stopped and lost power. Think my lifter collapsed cause it’s running really rough. Don’t want to keep starting it cause I don’t want to flood the engine
