Lifter & Pushrod Selection For DD/Auto-X LS1 w/226/230 Cam.
I am gathering parts for my heads/cam swap and nearing the final items on my list. I already have me heads and the cam:
EPS 226/230 112 +4 .604/.604
TEA Stage 1 5.7 Heads (CNC'd 241s) w/BTR 660 Platinums STEEL RETAINERS Heads still have stock valves.
Stock rockers with trunnion upgrade.
Totally Stock LS1 bottom end.
Also I have already accumulated all the small parts except for my lifters and pushrods. I WILL be measuring for proper pushrod length before ordering my pushrods.
This engine will be in a daily driven M6 2000 Camaro, that will also see weekend auto-x duty. Likely won't be turning over about 6400rpm max due to the cam size and that i will be using a stock LS6 intake (of course won't know for sure until it's on a dyno)
Long term reliability and ability to take a beating daily are the key factors however not spinning insanely high RPMs are something to be taken into consideration as well. Here's what I am thinking of using please make any suggestions or give me your thoughts as to if this will be a suitable setup. Are the .105 wall pushrods overkill or a good upgrade with my stock valves and using steel retainers?
TICK Performance 5/16 .105 Wall Pushrods

The 2110 lifters are good lifters. I'd move up to 11/32 pushrods. Those will be far stronger than thick wall 5/16"

I wouldn't overthink it for a pretty mild setup like that. "LS7" lifters and standard thick wall 5/16" should be fine. I have pretty much an identical cam (113 LSA though) and AI ported 243s on a LS6. I know we have different heads but mine held power all the way to 7k. I use my car on the street and hpde.

I am in the process of tearing down for a build with a nearly identical cam, EPS 226/230 113+2, and also the Johnson 2110's. I plan on going with 11/32" pushrods at a minimum. I would like to go 3/8" but from my research they don't always fit, and I don't feel comfortable clearancing them myself. Also the double tapered ones are quite a bit more expensive.
^vettenuts did a few good write-ups on here and on corvettefourms that is helpful when considering what kind/size pushrods to get.

Anyone know who usually keeps the 11/32 Mantons in stock? I'd like to go that route however I won't know what length I need until I get everything setup and measured. I'd like to avoid downtime and know of a place who keeps them in stock.

7.350" long, 11/32" dia w/5/16" ball ends, and .120" wall thickness.
This is with a Cam Motion cam, BTR SLR lifters, stock rockers w/ Straub trunnions, TSP Stage 1 799/243s not milled (I hope), BTR .660" springs, and stock .051" 5.7/5.3L HO steel shim head gaskets.
I just got it running last night with open exhaust - but the valvetrain didn't sound like it had a problem.
