Default Looking for cam help 02 ws6

I currently have a 02 ws6 m6 and is basically stock, just tsp rumbler catback. I am planning on new tsp longtubes with off-road y pipe and was looking for help on a cam/valvespring selection. I was planning on keeping stock heads but would change timing chain and oil pump in the process. Just didn't know how aggressive I could go to being stock as it is. My car doesn't get drove much. Just on nice days so I try to keep it nice but just finally wanting to do some upgrades. I do like the more "rough idle" approach but just looking for help

I'd say something in the 228 to 232 duration range.. I'm sure the cam motion titan 4 will come up a few times.. there are so many options it will make your brain hurt.. with stock heads I just wouldn't go too crazy on the cam so it stays fun to drive.. 112 lSA for a 6 speed.. smaller cam will help with valvespring life too.

Titan 4 or BTR Stage 2. .660'' Tooley Double Springs w/ Titanium Retainers. Timing chain and oil pump as you said and I would add an ATI balancer while you're already there anyway and a good tune you should be good.

Speed inc SI5 231/237
TSP 233/239

A great camshaft I like to use for applications like yours is a 230/234 .612/.595 112+2. This camshaft has a great idle, drives well and makes great mid-range and top end power without sacrificing a ton of bottom end.

I also would recommend BTR .660" Platinum spring kit with titanium retainers, 5/16" push rods, ARP cam bolts, ARP crank bolt, Timing cover seal, gasket and water pump gaskets. Also an IWIS timing chain, Melling HP oil pump and a Straub bushing trunion upgrade kit.

This is what I consider a complete cam swap package that has every part you will need and some.
