Make sure you use the proper tool to put the balancer back on. People that have followed LS1HOWTO have used the stock bolt to pull balancer on and have stripped the crank threads.

Ok sounds good. That's the first I've heard of issues putting the pulley back on. Any idea where to get this tool or what it's called

Almost at the point where I can put the new cam in!
Little bit choked at the fact my $1000 intake didn't come with intake port seals??! Now I'm stuck waiting three weeks for the needed seals or paying twice as much and ordering from the states and paying as much for shipping and handling as the gaskets are worth. This intake better be worth it

update is I have my heads on and just have to torque the arp bolts down. Still need to install the intake and make sure my pushrods length is good. It's taking some time since I've had to work a lot lately and I'm trying to not wreck anything on my car lol. Also I ordered hptuners yesterday and won't be here for a couple weeks👎

Yeah I'm so ready for the results haha! Hopefully I can figure out a tune for it since I have zero experience with tuning software.

I got mine started yesterday and got it to idle a little by opening up the butterfly but I have a smalll oil leak by the crank pulley which sucks.

What compression do you plan on running? My cam is a custom grind Cam Motion 232/238 111 LSA, so it's pretty similar to what you're running. My compression is 11.5:1. I would recommend bumping the compression to around there. You're low end will be much more responsive.

yeah that would be ideal. I am running stick compression so I'm sure it will be a bit sluggish down low but in the future I plan on doing some nice heads with a smaller cc. What heads are you running?

that does suck man! Sounds like the pulley didn't seat on the crank the whole way? Do you plan on tuning yourself or getting someone else to do it?

Advanced Induction Dart/RHS 227cc heads. The setup made 447rwhp and 431rwtq on a Mustang dyno through a LS6 intake/stock TB. I've since added a FAST 92/92 setup, so hoping for 470rwhp.

I'll be getting in tuned at a local tuner who did my bolt in tune . My car originally made 335/356 on the dyno thru a auto with 4.10s

Man cant wait to see your results?

Im running TSP 233/239 112, Livernois motorsports stg 3 LS6 heads out the box, TSP 1 7/8 headers, ory, corsa catback, pulley, circle D 4-4400 stall, 3.23 gears, LS6 intake and made 409rwhp... that was in 109' weather.. not sure what that equals in a better day.

i wanted to go as aggressive as i can, while keeping my setup simple.

but i am on the fence about getting a fast 92. I think id rather spend the money on a upgraded tranny.
