Got My Car Tuned Yesterday And LOST Power
#62
It's feels the same honestly. Idk my elevation. I'm in Kansas. I saw a 02 ss in my area on Craigslist and he went to KCMaxx and was putting down 340 to the wheels with only long tubes.

So I went in today to have them look at the tune. He took the computer out and looked at all the codes. When he came back he told that they were all problems with the car itself and he just went through and deleted all of the codes out of the computer. That includes o2 codes and MAF. He also told me that he tuned it for speed density but he could not remember the reason for why he did so. And after a little bit of nagging he finally dropped the idle to 700 rpm after telling me that my stall was messing up and that is why it idled so quick. Also, he told me that I was not down on power and that I am right where I am supposed to be. And last but not least, he asked me " does the car have a cam in it?".

If you can use a WB and dial in your MAF and VE you are worlds ahead of most people that tune. And even that isn't necessarily hard if you have the right histograms setup. It's as easy as copy and pasting errors. If you decide to go that route and get HPT I'll be glad to help. Good Luck
