Anyone run the Hawks Performance Sinister cam?
Anyone run this cam? The car is not a daily driver but I don't want it to be a bitch to drive around town. Any other cam suggestions?

Most on here claim that BIG 102 intake is tricky to tune on a 346 so I'd suggest camming it conservative so as to NOT add to the difficulty

Make sure you have a great tuner, because that is honestly the most important factor to ensure the car drives well..
Regarding drive ability, I've heard that the Fast LSXR 102 intake and matched TB can be tuned to drive like stock but I have never seen a Fast 102 intake actually deliver near stock drive ability. It might be possible with a gifted tuner. I don't think the Sinister is so radical it would make a 102 set up any harder to tune.
I have seen several dyno jet SAE results with the Sinister making mid-450 whp with supporting mod's like good exhaust and heads.
Hawk's Motorsports website says this:
