Default Head swap soon, what upgrades?

So I'll be getting some port work done by AI soon and want to know what else I should upgrade while the heads are off. Here's a link to the build and dyno but here's the long and short of it

Stock cube LS1
243s
Torquer V2
Jenvey ITB intake

I'm new to the LS world but assuming lifters and pushrods would also be a good idea?

I thought that V2 stick had some pretty aggressive lobes for an HR
you may consider a LLSR from Cam Motion to work with that intake setup

If you stick with a hydro cam you could look into Johnson lifters, either the drop ins or link bars would be an upgrade over stock. Also larger pushrods would help, 11/32" minimum, expensive dual tapers, or have your heads clearanced for 3/8" rods.

Which program are you going with from AI, 226 or 232? Also what cc chambers, and what head gaskets?

I've considered one of those but, with how tight the fit is in the engine bay of the s2000, a cam swap would mean I'd need to pull the motor.

Will likely go 232 since it's the same price as 226. I'm wanting to up compression to around 11:1 so I think 62cc and a .04 should get me there if I'm calculating right. May end up going with a stock size gasket though if there's a problem with clearances. This will be a pump gas car but may go E85 somewhere down the line.

Sweet, I just finished a build with the 232s and 62cc chambers, and stock gaskets. My heads are 317 castings with the chambers welded up vs milled for smaller chambers so I would have a little more PTV. It has yet to hit the road but it runs.

Awesome intake and swap by the way!

ls2 timing chain $50 is a cheap upgrade. i changed waterpumps but found out the hard way they stopped making ls1 pumps so the housing is different. the ls2 pump fit but my 160 therm i was going to add was worthless! (didnt fit).
