The 5.3 and lq4 guys have asked if swapping to flat tops if the assy needs to be balanced. If staying stock bore, no need. If going .030 over we recommend getting the piston weights checked at least plus rings. We do not have an actual difference yet.

We are now offering Joseph Potaks book "How to build and modify GM LS series engines" with our conplete gasket kits and complete rebuild kits.
We have had so many questions and calls, and while we answer then all gladly, we wanted a better alternative to our customers so they get the best knowledge and have something for a reference whether this is their 1st or 50th build.
Normally $27.99 retail we will add them to each complete gasket order for $10 extra. Just let us know if you want one. All rebuild kits will come with a copy of the book.

Potak does a good job on all his books! I have the one above, plus his F-body book, and his LS swap book. ALL very good, and should be in every LS engine freak's library!

Just found out that the LQ4 I bought for a swap needs a rebuild. I'm very new to the ls stuff and it will probably take me a bit to figure out what I will need but I will be getting in touch.

The price of the complete kits will be going up Monday next week. Every kit will be $699 shipped. I dont LIKE that we have to go up, but after days of research and pricing you still wont find as complete or as customisable as ours out there.
If you want a kit for less than that youll have to get them this week or weekend.
The gasket kits will also go up by $10. So $330 shipped. If you want to add the ls engine book it will still be a $10 option add on.

We will have sales like we do now to help and we have added a few "upgrades" to justify ours vs theirs. Its no comparison then. Plus the ability to change, mix n match, upgrade, or delete any part you want as well. The gasket kits are the same price, the hard parts and backorders are what made the complete kits go up.
They will likely stay right at this price til at least the end of the year but i forsee longer.

Ordered a bunch of stuff from these guys the last few weeks and the experience has been very good. The Tech support has been awesome as I really don't know much about these motors. Sorry for all the E-mails and questions guys.
There was a mistake on my end and the wrong ARP head bolts were ordered. I called to get the correct ones sent and had a e-mail that they were shipped within 30 minutes.
Great customer service,prices and parts. I'm sure I will be ordering more stuff.
