You can get new head bolts at autozone too under Felpro brand

thanks for the advise but I go arp wherever I can, the only original bolts on the entire motor are just for the front and rear covers lol.

I got in the new arp hardware, all looks good. I had a few questions about my motor, did ls1's come with the 04+bolt sizes? What about the ls6's? Not entirely sure what block I have

Maybe a later 5.3 aluminum block bored to 5.7 specs? (Yes, it can be done...)

it came with its original pistons etc, it dosent say 5.3 up front like my iron block, so im not sure about that. block number is 12561168. Engine was supposedly pulled out of a 2002 camaro

if it is LS1 , in front of bank 2 there is a serial number post it.

It might have come out of a 2002 Camaro, but I'd bet it is NOT the original block.
Somebody please look up #12561168 as referenced above.

If it's a serial number, could be from a rebuilder. Does GM put serial numbers on the block?
