Default Budget LS1 Street Build

Took a bone stock $4,000 98 Camaro and around maybe $4,000 worth of mods including tune and a one and a half car garage, made 387HP 371 Tq.
Lunati 222/228 113+4 cam and springs kit
LS6 Intake Used, Stock TB
Pacesetter 1-3/4 Headers, ORY, 3" Magnaflow Catback
Circle D Budget Converter 3000-3200 stall
Stock 10 Bolt and 3.23 gears (until it blows)
LS6 oil Pump, LS7 lifters and LS2 chain, 7.4 Pushrods
Resurfaced and cleaned up 799 Heads (not ported)
Replaced a lot of gaskets.
LCA, Panhard, Tq Arm.
180k Miles on stock bottom end.
Tuned By NicD
91 octane

It appears I need better tires. Went to 6.1k then let off due to vibrations. Dyno starts at 2.5k. Maybe the tires or Driveshaft.

That's really good on that mild cam. And that dyno can be stingy. You'll surprise lots of cars at red lights. NicD is phenomenal too

Thanks guys! Cam is more aggressive than I thought it would be, I'm happy with it, there is torque everywhere! Need to invest into some tire stock...

Not too shabby for that setup. Replace the crappy merge in that Pacesetter ORY with a Flomaster one, and you'll pick up a few ponies as well. Ask me how I know lol

What were your before and after results? Did you go with the 3.5" or 4" version?

I hear ya man. No before and after dyno results. I used my buddy's ported 03 Cobra as the bench mark on this particular case. From a roll before the FM merge he'd pull me by a solid car or more, and after it was practically dead even. We have ran several times before and after, so I know it wasn't a fluke or something. I was really surprised at how much of a difference it made, but it really proved to me how crappy the merge is on the Pacesetter ORY. I think mine was a 3" in 4" out if I remember right

Great news guys! Took my car in for an alignment at Sun Devil Auto on Power and Mckellips in mesa arizona and not only did they not align it to spec, I got 2 huge dents and a large paint chip in my rear quarter panel! ( I suspect a tool cart) I told them no kid is allowed to drive my car and guess what? Some punk kid maybe of 20 years of age was driving my car when I showed up a bit early. I try to trust someone one time to do some work and it gets screwed up. Only people touching my car now will be me and the guys at Dino Chip. So much hard work to not screw up a NEW PAINT JOB in a small garage and this happens the first time I need work done I can't do. Should've went to Dino chip again, will be going after I fix these dents and gouge.

A Refund for the alignment. They refuse to pay for the damage.

They said I can't prove they did it. Oh and the general manager tried arguing with me about how my car has struts. They are coil over shocks...there is a difference. Idiots....
