Default So I dropped a lifter and would like some advice from here (pics inside)

I got everything torn down and it seems like the only things damaged are the cam, lifter bore, and the piston walls are scratched a bit (that I'll chalk up to use since the car has ~200k).

My question is, what would you guys do at this point? I'm trying to stay on a budget with this. Wondering if I can get away with having a shop bore/clean the block and getting a new cam and pistons.. The cam IS irrecoverable, right?
Can shops usually clean up lifter bores?

Car is an 01 WS6 Trans Am fwiw.

Lifter bore should hone out, those cyl walls wont. youll need at least a .010 over hard hone or bore then hone, and the cam looks pretty bad. If it goes past the heat treat its done. it could be polished out but then it would always be the odd cyl.

Thanks, what do you mean by 'the odd cyl.'? Just that those cylinders would have a touch less lift throwing things off a bit? or something else

Not just less lift. Its a better idea to have the block machined then get a new cam. Youll have issues from then on out if you try to reuse it honestly. Possible noise, wear, less power...those are just a few possibilities.
