Default Polluter V1 Classic + AFR 205 + TSP headers/catback

I decided to slap together a bunch of parts I had laying around. So I ordered the Polluter V1 Classic cam from Tickperformance. They didn't know if the AFR heads would clear the cam (AFR 205/210) since the valves are bigger. This made me want the cam more, but they said if it doesn't fit that's my loss.

I decided to proceed with the order, and also went ahead and ordered commetic 0.040 head gaskets to loose 11 thou clearance and make things more interesting.

Here is what it sounds like 360* includes sound inside the car, from the front, sides, back! Kind of sounds like a rotary engine with a lot more bass lol. Idle is 950 rpm.

No flycutting/stock AFR 210 (newer version of 205 mongoose) heads, LS1/LS6 block and thinner .040 head gaskets. I did retard timing 1 degree on the Cloyes timing chain. They say this cam has loud valve train noise due to XER lobes, so to mitigate that I sized the pushrods to get away with the least amount of preload I felt comfortable with which came out to about 23 thou, given my experience with LS7 lifters, they don't like much preload, even stock preload on a rough cam seems like it makes them sing. Watch the video towards the end and see for yourself what you hear. I'm all about trying new things and this is not my daily driver. I have also measured valve clearance after putting everything together and it was where I liked it, even better

Now how does it perform on the dyno? Probably slow, we'll see. I'll report back lol.

It's Tick's Polluter V1 Classic which is 242/244 on a 112 and 0 degrees advance ground in. Lift is 61x/61x intake and exhaust. Then I went and backed off 1 degree just to keep things interesting lol.
