The high lift hot cam would be better suited for guys who just want to make a little more power and noise but dont want to change out the converter and gears. Honestly, this is a strange desire because simply swapping the converter to something like a Circle D 3600 and 3.7X gears would provide a larger performance increase over just a cam and would be much more stealthy. I daily with a 222/228 .567 .567 113+4 lunati cam, 3600 stall and 3.70s and it is perfectly streetable. If i could choose again id probably swing for a 228/232 on a 114+4 same stall and gears. Will I change the cam? No, it wouldn't be worth the hassle over what I have now. If you are starting on a clean slate, I would look at something like the 228/232 114+4 ~.600 ~.600.

I highly recommend looking at a QUALITY converter (circle D, Yank, FTI etc etc.) from a reputable builder before a cam swap.

We can get it in any lsa.

As far as converters, some people are ok with a 3600 and some are not. recommendating them is hard to do. Quite a few cant stand how you have to pedal alot of them just to get em to go.

If you want the asa in a 114 we can do that, but its not on the shelf so it would take a couple days. And it would still need a converter. 3000-3200 would be fine though like an entry level circle d or the like.

My ws6 is a 6 speed, what would be the difference using that 114 lsa vs the 110 lsa on both asa cam or using different lsa?

The larger separation is gonna give you a smoother idle but you'll lose out on top end power.

The 110 lsa has 11* of overlap a 114 has 3* so it'll still have a lopey idle but likely make less peak tq and lessen the amount of ptv if milling heads. it will be easier to cruise and drive down low and have a longer powerband. Peak hp may or may not be effected not sure there if not a couple hp different.

If it is a 6 speed I would not get a cam with 11° overlap for a DD. It would be unpleasant. Again I recommend 228/232 114+4.

In that neighborhood. A good running cam that sounds mean enough but still acts nice on the street.

BTR stage 2 is almost stock like, some minor surge crawling through a parking lot but drives like stock over 1200 rpm. Not sure I'd go much bigger on a DD.

The 525HP is the ASA cam, not the Hot Cam.

There's a little known secret to prescribing street cams to people in general, but it won't apply to most in this forum: Start at 246 degrees of duration on the intake and subtract one degree per year over age sixteen.

The Summit Pro LS stage 2 is 226/238 113 + 3 and has .600 lift. P/N SUM-8707. If you want a steady idle with a 346, you would set idle around 850-900 rpm. The cam makes a lot of power with good midrange and is easy to live with if you have a stick or a small stall converter. 3 I/O, 43 I/C, 55 E/O, 3 E/C and a total of 6 degrees overlap. Retarding the cam 2 degrees with a SUM-G6640 timing set is an option if you want to smooth the idle more.
