Is there someone that can report piston to valve clearance with either of these cams and LS1 or LS6 heads decked 0.030"?

No problems with my setup. I think my valves were sunk in slightly to account for having them milled .30. Running GM MLS gaskets

I ran a 228/234 XE-R on a 110 and it drove just fine on the street. Street manners can be very good if you spend the time to log and get it dialed in.

Any decent tuner should be able to get a ~228/232 112+4 to drive fine.

I would add the CamMotion Titan4 to the mix.

I would also consider an EPS cam. I and many on here prefer CamMotion or vendors who use CamMotion over Comp.

You may want to google the EPS 222/226 cam.

Are you on stock gears?

Similar to that torque Titan; mentioned I ran an EPS 218/226 .595"/.598"@117 LS back when Geoff still had Comp grind them
I pocket blended and milled my 241s .030", lapped in some hollow LS6 valves(no fancy valve job) and with Lunati dual springs and Chinese long tubes it went 11.87@119.85 on the factory clutch/3.42 gears and MT drag radials
Not great but decent IMO. Did average thirty plus mpgs though

Nice numbers for that size of cam! I'd be happy with high 11's.

My heavy sled went 11.70s @115 with the ssht. This is with an ss3600 stall, restrictive exhaust, low shift points and heavy s60. The car as it sits now with the ssht has more left in it if Iwere to optimize the existing setup to it's max.

This cam is in and custom tuned. I haven't driven it a whole heap but have a feel for it.

The good:

It certainly has excellent street manners. Power range is broad. No cam surge no matter what I tried which is a big improvement over the previous cam. Valvetrain is quieter although I also added a Trunion upgrade and measured pushrods which may have helped there. It has minimal lope, not undetectable as I expected from something with -10 overlap but pretty good.

The bad:

I was a little surprised how much power I dropped over my current cam. Went from a custom 216/220 .600 .600 112 Comp to this Cam Motion TT 218/226 .595 .587 116. Other than the cam change it was the same combo including ported 241s and all the usual bolt ons. Dropped about 23 rwhp. I expected to drop a bit but not that much. This cam doesn't have the same "put you in your seat" feeling of the other cam, it feels more like a stocker where it builds power. Still moves though.
