As some have mentioned, the As-Cast 220's are a great option for you. If you want a little more power down the road, several reputable shops can port them.

I dropped a set of Trick Flow as cast 220's with a FAST 92 and a medium sized cam (not donkey dick) on a buddies N/A stock cube/stock bottom end LS1 and it ran 6.7-6.9's with minor weight reduction (tubular front suspension). They made a huge believer out of me. And it only cut 1.6 ish 60 ft times.

I'd say that TSP Stage 1 243's are the best bang for buck heads out there for the LS1, they flow about 290 cfm. I've seen flow numbers for ported Trick Flow heads of about 330 cfm at .500 and 390 cfm at .700. The Mast small bore head flow numbers I've seen are about equal to the ported TF numbers.
