Default LT4 Rods in LQ9 Build

Quick Question - I cant find the rod specs for the current Gen LT4SC. But it appears as if theyre same as LS just piecing the information together - 6.125/2.100/.927

Ive got 2 builds happening right now. A budget 6.0 and a not so budget 6.0. For the not so budget Ive picked up Lunati H beams.

Would these be suitable for the budget build? What material are they? Since theyre ina 650hp factory car, and theyre factory rods, would it be reasonable to suspect they'll hold even more HP. Most know how strong the stock bottom is.

Thoughts? I tried searching and couldnt find much.

Lt1 and lt4 rods are 6.100. They are spot on for ls1s on specs but are very much superior in design and strength.

Last I looked, I'm pretty sure I saw that the bearing tangs are in a different position.

Thanks for that. Length doesnt really matter as long as I dont have any pistons yet - and I dont. I planned on measuring if I were to buy them anyways - never trust ebay measurements. Theyre a bit on the heavy side.

So I'll just buy hyper-e pistons for the "budget build" in stock LS1 stroke.

Gm rod bearings are $20 per set so make sure you have ~$160 in the budget for rod bearings.
Afaik they arent available in the aftermarket yet but ill check.

Dude says he's including og bearings. Whole set rods with coated bearings for $199. Good for budget. I'll get ahold of you for pistons.

Got 10 for the price of 8. Weighed them all. I'll not use the far left 2 so the spread is 689 to 692g. I'll take that.

That's a fairly large spread in weights between the two sets pictured. Are there part numbers on the side?

It surprises me they went to .943 and a steel rod when the LS9 was .984, 5.990 and Ti.

The pistons get quite a bit more support from the dome they use for the higher cr. They are a forged piston also.
Remember the lsa uses a big gen4 rod basically.

I think I'd rather put those in an engine than a set of H-beams From Eagle or Scat or a company of that nature
