Default New build: TSP LS3 429ci

Just put in a order today with TSP for an LS3 base 429ci stroker for my 2002 Z71 Suburban.
Carillo forged pistons
Lunati crank
TSP forged H beam rods
11.1
CNC ported LS3 heads
102mm Holley Sniper EFI Manifold
102mm Holley Sniper TB
4 inch intake
Electric fans
Circle D 3200-3400 converter
4.88 gears
22inch wheels wrapped with 33inch tires
PerformaBuilt Stage 3 Transmission
TEXAS SPEED is currently putting together cam specs for this set up as well.

As soon as they hit me back with cam specs, I’ll post.

What am I looking at for RWHP here? Ball park number 525-575 RWHP, pretty much even torque as well?

Any chime and input appreciated 👍🏼

The cam is what will determine the final numbers, of course, but it sounds like you COULD make the power you are looking for.

TEXAS SPEED knows I’m trying to pull all the power I can out her, so I put it in their hands lol
Just a waiting game now, we will see.

Thanks G Atsma

I think that with TSP, your engine is in the right hands! Never heard anything negative about them. Plus I hear they're a nice bunch of people!

I'd say 450-650whp.

Not too late to get a 416 instead, if you want it to run more then 10k miles.

Yeah no kidding... No way I'd want a 4.1" crank in a stock sleeve on a daily driver. Track toy or weekend cruiser, fine. Truck you plan on driving daily for a long period of time? Absolutely not.

Whatever happened with that? Last I saw, Brian was sending you a new set of pistons with a new skirt design.

Please tell me you're not running a 60e behind that thing.

He did, they went in, motor ran like a top, made 630rw through the 4l80, sold the car to a fella from SC, went 9,7x with a powerglide, haven't heard much since. AFAIK its a grudge car now.

I think a turbo would get your numbers and allow the truck to drive like stock. And would also be much much cheaper.

The cam needed in a 429 to make 550rwhp behind a stalled auto isn't going to be a great daily driver stick.

I actually just recently took my turbo kit off. Pulled the ls6 383ci stroker Eric at HKE built, dropped it in my old square body.

The Suburban put down 502RWHP, 560RWTQ 76mm @8lbs, boost cam, with a conservative 14* of timing through PerformaBuilt stage 3 4l65 and 4.88 gears on a mustang dyno. (stock 5.3 heads, stock 5.3 intake/TB) Made 500ft/lbs at 3k rpm. Drove this for over a year.

SRT8 is blown
Square body Turbo'd
I want a fairly large N/A motor in the Burb
