Springs: Any quality dual spring will be plenty
Pushrods: Any 5/16" hardened pushrods - measure for correct length before purchasing
Lifters: Morel 5315 - quality drop in lifters at a decent price

Since you have a TSP cam, give them a call and I'm sure they'd be happy get you all set up with what you need.

The .625 spring will work, as I have read on these forums that it is better to use a spring that has max lift fairly close to actual valve lift to avoid lofting. Others may disagree. Jury might still be out on this.

But if I got a .600 spring wouldn't that run a higher risk of valve float?

You don't want to run a .600 spring on a .600 lift cam. Coil bind WILL result, and you do NOT want that.

I just put that same TSP cam in my car and had it tuned and it ran friggen awesome here is what i did.

1. TSP .660" POLISHED Dual Spring Kit. Don't run a single spring
2. TSP 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods, 7.40 length. you should prolly check the length you need with a check tool but with the stock engine and valvetrain 7.40 worked perfect for me.
3. LS7 lifters from WS6 project they sell in bulk for an awesome price and new lifter trays.

Good luck.

I had a Dyno sheet but sold the car and it went with it, car made 401.6 with 150k on the rotating assembly. Great cam stay with the 112 LISA.

A .600 spring doesn't coil bind at .600. It states that it will work with a .600 camshaft. so you could even use a single beehive with this cam. I used 918 beehives with my 224r.

For the love of God, call Texas speed and tell them you want a 228r and the associated spring kit that goes with it, they have combination packages with everything you need. You can do a beehive, but if the spring ever breaks, that valve and the piston are gonna be unhappy with each other, run double springs, end of story and they are cheap.

Run the dual spring setup but also go up to atleast a 11/32 pushrod. (dual tapered pushrods)
