The point here is, the OP already HAS a pair of 243's that can get done while he drives his current combo. $750 will get those done, he gets them home, switches them, and BAM! he's done! If the only reason the 241's make more power is more compression, milling the 243's (no extra cost at TSP) will take care of that.

Yes, TSP said they could mill them .030 at no charge while they have them. They also said the stock springs would work ok with the 600 lift cam I have, but I will prob swap over my BTR 660 springs once I get the heads back.

Stock springs with .600 cam?? Better to switch to your .660's. I haven't heard of any "stock" springs that will handle a .600 lift cam.

I agree...with 1.8 rocker it would be around .554 or so I would think. LS6 springs maybe .570? Not hard to swap over springs and the BTR that I have prob have less than 5k miles on them since the cam install...I guess maybe the guy I spoke with there was talking about the springs on their as cast heads or the 2.5 the sell...
