Cool 800 N/A Horsepower 9000 RPM 369" LS

The guys at Venom Racing Engines just finished up this beauty for Bonneville:

One correction. The block is a Dart LS NEXT not an SHP version.

Just add RPM Hammer and 800 is there with what you got now EASY.

Callies Magnum XL (3.622 stroke)
Molnar Technologies 6.200 Rods
Custom CP pistons we spec'd 16.25:1 compression
DLC coated wrist pins
.9mm/.9mm/2.0mm ring pack
270/282 .801/.792 on a 112 lobe seperation Cam motion Camshaft
Jesel Belt Drive
Jesel .937 lifters
7/16 .165 wall trend dual taper pushrods
Dailey 5 stage billet dry sump (going to pull as much vacuum as we can)

Top end consits of

Mast Motorsports Str8jacket heads (390cfm/255cfm at .800 lift on 4.060 bore)
2.250/1.570 Trick Titanium Valves
50* seats

M&M competition engines sheet metal intake
Twin Accufab 6500 throttle bodies

KCS think about Dwill and the older model small bore Mast Ls7 heads did....on a 408 820fwhp @ 8100. Both cams are in the 270's with .800 lift. 15 to 1 compression. Darn good combos.

Sorta explains why it only picked up ten horse in the final thousand RPMs of the pull as opposed to the hundred it gained from 7 to 8 grand
Willing to bet that a 4.155" X 3.25" combo would have acted differently with all else being equal
Still quite ridiculous to imagine those poor valve springs opening and closing 87 times PER second...
