With a 4000 stall and 3.73 gears, everyone is going to recommend high rpm drag strip cams. I would suggest that you decide what your redline is going to be, and look at cams that peak slightly lower than redline. Why give up all the power below the curve to get a cam that peaks 800 rpm above your redline?

now that iv had some time to understand this stuff a bit i totally agree .... if im never going to push my car above 6200rpm then why be looking at a cam that goes way above an rpm ill never meet..
