Default How to spend $3000 on my LS1 Motor

Sorry if this isn't a new topic but I'm new to this forum and Ls1's.
I have recently purchased an 02 SS that already has a tune and 1" 7/8 headers. I was wondering what the best way to go about spending $3000 on the motor would be? I was thinking a stroker kit or would it just be better to go with a camshaft and other modifications?

Also are you more concerned about straight line performance or handeling?

Heads/cam/tune. Then start saving to put a 9inch rear in down the road.

You will expel your budget quickly if you went the stroker kit route. I'd go H/C/I if I were you.
