Default titan 5 cam

hi guys i am currently looking for a new cam and cam motion suggestend their titan 5 cam 232 /238 .621/.604 113+4.does any won have this cam in his car and was your experience positive.

ls1 383 head patriot 2 long tube 102 mm fast 390 gears 6speed i currently have a 228 236 .610 /.610 114 cam and i make 450 rwhp 433 rwtq

i used this cam when i was head cam only and i made 435 rwhp 390 rwtq i would like to have a noticeable difference like close to 500 rwhp or more it is not daily driven more weekend warrior road course.love high rpm shift 7000 rpm.

The switch from your current cam to the one you've listed is not worth the time and money IMO. If you were going to upgrade the heads and whatnot then sure a bigger cam makes sense, but for all the time and money for maybe another 5-10 hp just isn't worth it.

that is what i was thinking the cam is to small to make a real difference.cam motion suggested me this cam for 500 rwhp but wanted to see what odder people have gotten with this cam.

Yeah no way in hell will you gain another 50 hp by just switching to that cam.

maybe more in the order a 235 /242 .650/.650 112 would do the trick.

a solid cam would involve changing my yela terra rockers to an adj one.but for now my budget cant go there.

If it were me, and I wanted another 50 hp, I'd focus on the heads first. Or better yet just hit your current setup with some nitrous

also i ask cam motion what ramp rate the cam was and no ansers did i ask it the wrong way?

I don't know but honestly I wouldn't even focus on this anymore since it's not gonna happen. I'm surprised they would tell you something like this. It makes me wonder if there was a miscommunication somewhere

new head wont give me 50 rwhp i have 315 cfm at .600 lift int whit my current heads max flow for my bore size is limited to max 330 cfm 340 maybe .so not worth the extra dow

A better head along with the cam is what I'm saying. Definitely 50 hp there
