Question LS6 SPRINGS with TSP cam question

Would this work well with a 4.8 motor? I'm a little concerned of the ls6 springs with the .550"lift this cam has

LS6 springs will be fine for that cam. It has the same lift as the late LS6 OEM cam.

Just my opinion. Those springs will likely control the valve train but they will fatigue quicker than other springs. Personally, I would go with the PSI 1511 ML springs that will provide a little more seat force and last a long time.

vettenuts- I stand corrected! Those would be better springs! I must have been in an OEM state of mind... lol

If you upgrade to the better springs, you might as well upgrade to the .600 lift for that incremental increase in performance. Where does it stop?

Those are fine for those low lift cams. Have sold and installed quite a fe and some of the tsp guys run em im their personal stuff.
That being said, i dont like ls6 springs much, but an upgrade to the PAC 1218 isnt much more in reality and they are a quieter higher quality spring.

Agreed, not much price difference for the piece of mind.

A PAC 1218 or 1219x are quite a bit more economical than the 1511ml and both are still very high quality.

$139/$179 vs $240+ is quite a difference.

I would select a 1218 yes. Great spring for the money.
