Default Ticking , clacking noise from engine

When car is col it urns in and stay on only when my foot is depressed on the gas pedal. Also clacking noise when at stop, reverse and drive not neutral and park. Could it ne bent push rod, injectors or lifter? When at stop sign i could put the car in neutral rpm raise and noise is less noticable

Are you saying that you only hear the noise when in reverse and drive and you do not hear the noise in neutral or park? If so that sounds like an issue related to your transmission and not your engine.

Stock motor? Cammed? If so, how big of a cam?

How loud is the clacking? How many miles on the motor? Could just be worn out lifters bleeding down causing valvetrain noise.

its not really loud, but very annoying
364,00 miles no check engine light issues, transmission goes into gear fine, just the cold start issue and clacking noise.
I looked on you tube it suggested the same thing you said, lifters causing valvetrain noise. Thank you for responding,

cold start issue mite be a leaky injector .the noise you hear mite be wore out rocker arms .maybe remove the valve covers and inspect the rockers and push rods .push down on the push rod to check out the lifters .consider a thicker oil .
