Default Tfs 205

So I'm looking for some feedback on a possible combo I have in mind looking at tfs 205's and the sns stage two cam. I haven't ruled out the tfs as cast 220 either. I originally had my eye on mamo sportsman but unable to get a return email from tony, which insure is because he is super busy I'm going the trickflow route

Right off the top of my head i can tell that setup will be a torque monster. That gearing with those heads and cam it will be awesome IMO

i would ditch the bbk intake also if i had to chose over the tfs 205 or 220 as cast i would goto the 220 as cast heads because if you ever go bigger than 346ci you can send the 220s out an have them cnc bigger

The 220 is the better overall head, BUT I can see the 205 being a good match for that SNS with high overlap. Good port velocity would compliment that cam. The 220 will carry better up top and past peak.

I'm looking for more under the curve without giving up to much on the top end. I'm hoping the bump in compression Wii help offset not carrying up top as well?

The bump in compression will help, but it will also help the 220's to perform better down low. Personally, if choosing between the two for my own purposes, I'd do the 220's. Even if I was doing heads and keeping the factory cam, I'd do the 220's. But the TFS205 is a great cylinder head, and I think it will also be a great upgrade over stock heads.
