Scroll down to pic 4. That little plug would be easy to overlook. Since it works like a freeze plug there's always an off chance that it's in crooked or a hair under size. The only issue is that you'd have to pull the front cover to check.
If you do open it up I'd also be looking at pickup to pan clearance, o-ring pinched, pressure relief valve sticking, plus whatever else I could see while I was there.
We have these to replace the front oil galley freeze plug. Less chance of leaking with a O ring, and you don't have to worry about getting that little freeze in perfectly straight so it won't leak.

And this to keep the oil pick up tube mounted flush to the pump.

1200-1300hp probably have large bearing clearances. That can lower the pressure if you do run heavier oil and the oil pump spring change.

To check pan to pick up clearance I like to a piece of tape over the pick up screen and put a piece of clay on it, then set the pan and gasket and snug a couple bolts, then remove and measure the thickness of the clay.

if they weren't that wouldn't cause low oil pressure. You wouldn't be able to turn the motor over. The rods have a chamfer on one side to match the radius on the crank on the counter weight side of the rod journal.

Gotcha i saw one that was backwards so i fixed that like chamfer facing flat but went over everything twice hopefully have some oil pressure today
