Cam for my 2002 camaro quick questions. I am looking at a cam for my ls1 and I just wanted to know if it would be a good cam for driving and be good sounding. I don’t really want a really uncivilized if you know what I mean. It is a Hydraulic Roller, Advertised Duration 286/282, Lift .575/.575, Lobe Sep. 112. Thanks.

This is what is shows for what gen the 2002 camaro is. It is confusing me getting different info. Any way what motor is in my car then? I was told and when I look it up with the vin it says it is a 5.7?https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet

They should show duration at .050" as that is what is usually quoted for comparison's sake.
Just googled it- 220/224. Pretty mild cam, should just lope a little. It will not sound stock.

well i went too mild (ls6), i would say no less than 224 / 224 duration , call a few sponsors and get a pros opinion. maybe i missed it do you have a stick or auto? if auto will you add a stall? yes you'll need a tune after. better springs are very important.
