Spare Parts LQ4

As the title says I have a LQ4/4L80with a170k, I got the whole truck for dirt cheap. I have some spare parts on the shelf and want to see if it’s worth building.

The motor is is going in a 57 Chevy truck that will be my wife’s to cruise/auto-x nothing wild or crazy just a good driver.

What I have:
LQ4 (have the complete engine still assembled 317 heads)
706 heads
T Rex Cam w/ springs
LS1 intake

Worth it?

A 57 Chevy truck autocrossing? COOL! At first I was leery that your wife might not like the lumpy T-Rex cam, but if she races, no problem!

LS1 intake is never worth it.

True! Either OEM LS6 or Dorman copy. Both are good, and WAY better than the LS1

The LQ4 intake is awholehelluvalot better than the LS1, for that matter; if it'll fit. Which I'm pretty sure it will... seems like my old 57 panel truck from back in the day had about a mile of hood clearance to the sufferin' 6 that was in it.
