There is no reason why anyone should be buying Procomp or anything related to them in 2018. Their quality issues have been well known and documented across multiple forums for well over a decade. My personal experience with procomp started in 2008 when I was young and didnt know any better (first engine build). The machine shop sold me pro comp roller rockers for a smoking deal. They sure were pretty but the trunion started coming loose with less than 500 miles on the engine.

I think this is a good build, I know everyone is bashing the OP about his choice of parts, and maybe its not really bashing, it might be more of trying to shed some light on the reputation of the parts. if this is the direction that he wants to go, so be it. if he makes 1000whp with this set up and a Chinese turbo, that's cool with me and he'll be happy about it.

good luck on the build!, ill be watching this one.

they’re pretty light for steel. I’ve been running a set now for a couple of years no issues shifting at 7k with 231 239@.050 cam.

They arent as light as titanium for sure though. And those upper revs on some springs wont be stable either.
