With your gear ratio, you’re telling us you aren’t playing around. Either the Summit Pro Ls Stage 2 p:n Sum-8707 (226 duration) or the Sum-8708 Stage 3 - (231 duration) will work. Both excellent and simply incremental in their power band and idle characteristics. The Gen. 3 ecm and stock cubic inches isn’t as forgiving in terms of idle quality as the later ones or it’s ability to react to a light clutch/flywheel. The Stage 2 is probably going to be the one you want. If you are running a 45+ lb clutch and flywheel and have a tuner that spends time on drivability...the Pro Ls Stage 3 will make you very happy if maximum average power under 6500 is your goal. Either way, it will be fast and make a lot of power.

Thank you for your consideration. We live this stuff too. Completely natural to answer questions while looking at the Christmas tree and thinking about whether to take it down Tuesday-ish. Happy New Year.!

Our high lift hot cam and asa cam are strong contenders.
We had them specifically ground by tsp due to their state of the art facility, cam grinders, attention to quality and detail, near same day turn around time and 0 failure rate.
We designed the lobes and they grind em! the secret is what you dont see on a cam card.
We will have more lobes and cams soon also and not just "GM tagalongs" so to speak.

Going try out the asa high lift. There's so many good choices but after talking to 2 guys running them and how they perform. Im going go that route. Im going also wait for mavn to try out the summit line and see what is thoughts are and throw one in to compare them. The asa high lift is literally the one i was looking for, but didn't give it much thought tbh until i was contacted and did a lil digging on them.

I went with Cam Motion because their service was excellent, and I liked how they focused a lot on valvetrain stability. I have a buddy with a smaller cam than I have, and my valvetrain is much quieter than his. He has Comp, I have Cam Motion. Just my $.02. Good luck with your build!
