241 tea ported heads milled?

i have a set of ported 241 heads that I’m debating on having milled for my ls1 car, the cam is 233/239 112 lsa at 600 lift. Texas speed said I could shave off .020 what do you guys recommend?

I may try .025 and see if I can get away with it. I will ask the machinists.

Why do that if you already have 2 opinions stating to do .020?? If both TSP and Ls7colorado think .020 is enough, why risk a problem??

Tsp is a very reputable builder, what is another .005 gonna gain you other than slightly less valve clearance the compression increase will not even be noticeable

You guys are right going to stick at .020 over and hope for 400whp. Any opinions 241 tea ported shaved .020 ls6 intake 233/239 tsp cam a4 car.

should be over 400 even with an auto good intake would help a lot up top

I was thinking the ls6 intake was better than the ls2 have to search again I’m not farmiliar with the efi intakes.
i do know the FAST are way better

The stock LS2 is not very good. By comparison, the Dorman LS2 is VERY good, comparable or even a bit better than the LS6, which Dorman also makes a copy of.
