Nah, the neighbors will probably bitch me out. I think I'm going to do a cutout but after that still undecided to keep the best gains with the cutout closed and keep it a lot quieter.

Cool. Did you run the time in your signature with that combo?

Back to cam suggestions LOL.
I would humbly submit the Cam Motion LS1 Titan 4, 227*/232* 113*+4* Adv.
as the ideal street/strip daily driver capable cam for your combination and
goals.
Good Luck

Yep, I have the BTR stage 2 which is similar and it's great for street driving.

You’ll hit that number easily with nice drivability with Summit stage 2. 226.

Is that SUM-8707? I like the pricing on those cams. Will check it out. Thanks.

So, I'd keep overlap at 6 degrees or less for a very streetable combo... I also have found a 45 IVC and 55 EVO makes the most usable power in a 346.

So, with those cam events and slightly biased intake overlap, I'd recommend a 229/237 113.5+3 combo. Using 370/362 lobes for .629/.615 lift numbers from TSP or Cam Motion.

It would make good power and drive great. I'd aim for 11.2:1-11.4:1 CR or so with it as well.

Thanks! I'll consider that as well for sure. I definitely have some great recommendations to go over now which was my goal in posting this thread. Thanks for everyone's input.

I am looking into the 11/32 prs just need to make sure they will fit in the prc 225s.
For compression I think they only make those heads in 62 and 68cc chambers so will probably have to go with the .041 gaskets. I also have a arp 12 point head balancer bolt ready to go and was planning on the ls2 trays as well.
I will look into a bigger lid and maf. What sizes would you suggest on those? 104 and 85? Unless Carl thinks I should go SD. I would definitely like to see your cammed cars manners this spring.
Sounds like you've got it down! I have the 104mm lid, I think it is pretty much the same as the 98mm with a lip at the back to put a MAF into. It sucks to fit a coupler over it, but a 4" exhaust pipe section fits in there pretty well. On the 90/92 setups I see a lot of people go with a 85mm MAF. Carl recommended I go with SD, let me know if he recommends otherwise for you.

I'm going to look into the 104/98mm lids then as it wasn't something I had even thought of. I will also try to find a deal on a 85mm maf. I'll let you know what he says about the tune. Thanks!

before you let anyone talk you into speed density, please please research. there are a ton of threads on this that will hopefully help steer you to what is personally best for you. and dont let a tuner make this decision for you. tuners that cant do speed density will just tell you a maf is better anyway, and then the guys who dont wanna deal with the driveability portion of a 100mm maf tune will tell you to speed density. id recommend a tuner who is willing to do both for you.

also research the 100mm maf, you will find they really arent that necessary on a 346. by far the easiest route is the 98/85 maf combo. finding the reducing coupler to work connecting the 100 maf to the 90mm tb is a pain

I was thinking of going with the 98/85 combo just based on preliminary research. I will research sd vs maf tunes as well. I was most likely going to run.a maf tune anyways over sd and will keep in mind your advice on that subject.

The tuner in question is very good.

Thats so close to the tsunami just use the tsunami. Its prob the biggest cam i like to recommend before reaching the point of diminishing returns really.

I'm thinking now that may be too big for a street cam unless the prc 225s are nice enough to make that cam behave like a smaller one. Can anyone confirm that? As stated the tuner is an excellent one so maybe he can make the tsunami drive street friendly.
