Default Cam/stahl/gear qusstion

I have a 1999 firehawk that I have rebuilt. The engine is 5.7 ls1, machined/milled 799 heads, 219/224 .606/.610 cam, I will be running 4.10 gears. What would be a good stahl to run?

I think you mean STALL. With that cam you could get away with a stock converter pretty easily, especially with 4.11's

Something 3600+ will be good. With a converter that size and the 4.10's, the car will be a blast to drive.

I wouldn’t even waste my time installing anything less than 3000 stall rpm, but if it’s not an all out racecar which I’m assuming it’s not it’s mostly just personal preference

I would go with at least a 3400 if I was going to put a stall in it. It would definitely make the car run better than a stock converter. You’re a little steep on gearing though with an A4.

Circle D 3200 that's all that cam needs
