First Cam Swap I've got a 01 Silverado, LM4 out of a Rainier and I was looking at putting a Howards Rattler Cam in the truck. Since this is my first cam swap, I was wondering if I need to install a stall as well or would the stock converter work. If not, could someone suggest a decent lopey cam that would work with the stock stall. Thanks in advance.

What is the truck going to be used for?
The stock converter may work with that cam but I wouldn't.
At the very least, if you're looking for budget, you can run a trail blazer i6 converter which has a stall speed of 2800 rpms and can be picked up at your local parts store for a couple hundred dollars.

Id go ws6store hotcam (because I did) comes with springs to match, should work well.
