Default Which head gasket...

I'm trying to find head gaskets for my build, but I don't need $90.00/each Cometics.

I have a 6.0, with 243 heads, an Ls6 intake, and a .585 lift Trick Flow cam & kit and stock bottom end. Nothing exotic.
I want to stick with .051 thickness. Good, reliable, reasonably priced gaskets are what I'm looking for here.

What do you think?

Thanks...

Try ws6store. They have some reasonably priced options.

OEM gaskets are very inexpensive compared to Cometic.

OK, another question.
I was comparing a couple of gasket specs, just out of curiosity, and the specs are:
A.Chevrolet, Part Number: 12589227
Bore (in): 4.020 in.
Gasket Material: Composite
Compressed Thickness (in): 0.051 in

B. Fel Pro, Part Number: 26192PT
Bore (in): 4.100 in.
Gasket Material: Multi-layer steel
Compressed Thickness (in): 0.048 in

The bore of my LQ4 is 4.0" (stock) and I'd like to know the effect, if any, between the 4.020 and the 4.100 gasket bore size?
I know there will be a slight increase in compression (.051 vs. .048 thickness).

Which would you use? Or... does it matter?

Thanks...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^THIS...
I prefer MLS every time on my LS builds, and I’ve bought quite a few from WS6Store. Good folks and even better prices.
