camshaft grind identification

camshaft grind identification

tried google and couple cam manf. with no luck.. cam is a comp cam grind, numbers are j 3116-15 13158r-13037r hr 120.05
i would like to know what company had it ground to their specs. and for what purpose was the cam intended for. n/a, stroker, turbo, supercharger. ect. ect. so no confusion here..

Have you called Comp?? Not to be too obvious....

why would you say crazy talk. i have looked up the numbers and know the lift and duration. would like to know the manf. to ask them so questions.

1) You want to know the mfr.
2) You said above it's a Comp grind.
3) GUESS WHAT??? COMP MANUFACTURED IT!! They would know.

Idk why comp could not help:

13158r is 226@050 and .605 lift on 1.7 rockers,
13037r is 227@050 and .598!lift on 1.7 rockers.

Its a weird spec. My guess is a turbo spec, but that is a pure guess.

thanks darth. thats what i thought its kinda weird. unless its an old thunder racing design cam. i message btr. cam motion, and little john. cam motion thinks its an older grind.
