Timing issue
Are you cable throttle? If so get an ecm out of a 02 camaro to match your harness.
I am not 100% sure that simply changing the tune from a v6 to V8 will make it properly operate a v8. There is also several places in the tune you have to tell it the firing order.
If I misunderstood that part, the pin outs from truck and camaro do not all match. Your harness cylinder pin outs for spark and fuel may not match your ECU pond causing firing at the wrong time. Camaro ECU with camaro harness fixes that.
Easiest solution is 02 camaro v8 ecu. Then use editing software to fix fueling and timing.

It's a 2000 truck pcm 09354896 it looks like the pin outs are the same I'll check again but this pcm is used in camaros also checked with my gm guy. It's been refreshed with a stock camaro tune then segment swapped for the cam and a few other things. I need to power bank 2 it doesnt have power because of the v6 fuse block.
Ok so ran a wire for inj.2 from fuse block car starts up and runs with help from throttle body cleaner. Runs really rich think it needs a retune anyone here good with bench tuning these pcms for cam swaps already paid someone once dont want to keep paying for same results
