Looks like AFR doing their version of "Fast as Cast", which might just be "Faster"....

Would like more detail. Possibly a re-imagined AFR205? Which wouldn't be a bad idea. Those heads still perform. If they were faster than the tfs fast as cast 220's, that would be quite impressive

Agreed! Though knowing AFR, I doubt they would release a head that only goes part way of the competition. I guess we'll see... should be interesting!
PLUS I think Mamo and AFR are still working together, so you better believe he had some input here. If so, look out TF!

The 205's do still perform. Glad I got mine cheap used back in 2012.
My LS1 is tired and the 205's will be going on the L99 short block I have waiting in the wings for my C5.

Not to change the subject TOO much, but the AFR 205 is discussed here, and the AFR 210 is the current model.
Is the 210 a real improvement over the 205? The 205 seems fairly revered, but hardly any mention of the 210.

From the linked article... "While we don’t have all of the flow numbers and specifications just yet, we will soon. Expect to see more information on these heads toward the end of January with a price tag around the $1,000 mark." Since they aren't on the market yet and haven't even released flow numbers yet it's going to be hard to make any real comparisons at this point only assumptions.

I was speaking of the current CNC'd 210 that has been out for about 2-3 years, not this new one.

I think these heads will be a game changer , they will blow all the other as cast TSP , TFS , Dart all out of the water and will have a rippel effect across the board . Any others planning on coming to market in near future , better take notice AFR has just raised the bar .

It could be a game changer for the old 5.7. Be hard to justify sending off your 243 for porting at that price.

I wonder what the minimum bore is. Bummer if they don't fit 4.8/5.3's

For $1200 a pair there is no doubt in my mind these are the heads I'm going to put on my new motor.

Yes that's my point ! It will not only effect the other as cast competition , but CNC on oem castings and aftermarket alike . And on the resale side of things Do you think a guy that has a set of lightly used $2500 heads is going to be able to sell them for $1500 to $1800 when you can buy these afr for close to $1000
