Pick up tube was longer than oem factory pick up mounts to the #3 main cap this one mounts to #4. Anyone ever run into this problem . Brand is speed engineering meant for first gen F body conversion

I've got a fabbed steel pan and the pickup was longer than stock. I just tossed my windage tray in the garbage and bolted the pickup on #4 main. It needed to be cut a bunch to fit and I didn't care to do it.

Moroso 7 qt pan and pickup. Did the same thing to mod the factory windage tray. The Moroso windage tray was stupid expensive
