You can already buy these I thought?...I saw them a few days ago on CNC Motorsports site.

What I'd love to see here is what is happening lower in the rpm between the 108 LSA cam and the others, there is a significant difference in the way the torque climbs to its peak early in RPM with the 108, Id say it's a difference you would really feel.

I've heard of this but never actually seen it as well as its shown above. The graphs show some of it, just not all of it.

I was advised once by a cam company if I used a narrow LSA on a LS1 with stock duration Id be more likely to break the diff as a result.
Thanks for posting !!!

Ok. Sorry. I have been out of the loop. They did release them to a few dealers so far. Not sure why they asked me not to post the cam cards until later on.

That is correct. Peak tq was 1,000 rpm early with the 108. Look close at the first and last graph. you can see where it peaks and how soon the 108 lsa falls off.
To the seat of the pants the 108 cam felt fastest of them all with the stock converter by the seat of the pants. It was extremely snappy. It was my favorite of the test.

With the calculator, if advance is not known, you put 0 in that blank. It will give the intake center for the specs entered.

Thanks man. Its a long story. I helped my dad out in a nasty divorce. I had an 02 z71 4wd. I gave it to him to get him going.

years later I had a black 2wd rcsb when I was down in florida. well when my lady and I moved back north I sold it because it wasnt a very useful DD in michigan.
Missed it ever since.
So a few months ago my dad was presented the opportunity to buy it. 25k miles. Arizona truck. Super clean with just a few scratches from car wash brushes. not a single dent or ding. So he bought it for me. waited 3 months to surprise me with it. Definitely the best gift ever.

Im building a dome top ls1 for it right now with a really big cam, 4,200 stall, 4.10's and such. Literally just going to beat around town with it and do burnouts lol. Throw a nice stereo in it and cruise it.

So basically just a red and similar version to my old black truck. lq4 6.0 with a comp 230/238 .600. That truck made 388wp and ran 12.4 with a 3,600 yank. 13.0 with the stock converter. 4,538lbs with me in it.

No problem. Thank you! Hope this helps some people out with a cam decision. Great mid lift series for sure.

Really liked that 108 cam personally. most responsive aftermarket cam Ive ever installed or used.
It is a great choice for stock converter or heavier vehicle guys.

The larger 2 are still great choices but definitely would need a 3,000 stall.

You call that a TRUCK, over here in Australia we would not call that a truck we would call it a ute or a large ute! But since you are all calling it a truck I will also.

This created some confusion when I purchase my first LS engine as I read they were primarily installed in to trucks in USA, I imagined you had lots of Kenworths and Mack trucks with LS engines over there or something similar. Couldn't work out how a truck engine like this could handle high rpm.

When a cam like the 108 LSA cam with lower duration causes peak torque to come in earlier (in this case about 1000 rpm earlier) and climbs rapidly from low rpm to that peak, it makes the car feel powerful, it's what makes it fun to drive, for normal everyday driving that is.

It got ridiculous for a while. Even our Ford Ranchero and Chevy El Camino were labeled as trucks!
I actually like the term "ute" as it suits the common usage they see.
Though, our heavier 3/4 and 1 ton pickups are closer to being true trucks.

How is the idle? I would think pretty choppy with the -2 overlap.
