Hey all, got a cam from a buddy of mine and was planning on putting it in my car. 01 trans am stock ls1. I have some stock 243 heads I plan on getting worked. I need to know what all I need to do to get the cam to work with my setup, and if it's worth it. Here are the specs straight off the website: Solid Roller Cam. That's for a race engine, you would have to change everything and it's not worth it... Read some threads on here mine are pretty good

I think that cam will require building a racing engine around it to be worthwhile.

What's your goals and budget for the car? Those details will help greatly with suggestions.
