Thanks, the tpis is excellent and sleeper. All my friends told me I would never go this HP with it. All told me fast fast but I like the stealth look of it. Big thanks to edgyvette for porting the runners a bit.

I know now with the new pieces it will make more HP or that I expect.

Later on, maybe next year a msd is my target.

Nice build Booz! We like the detailed layout of the project and all the pics along the way. Thanks for choosing Summit Pro LS pistons and rods to use in this build. Looking forward to seeing this running and seeing the results.

Some pics of today. Car drives great. Idle and cruise perfect. Awaiting for the cuarantine to end to go to Dyno.

Nice build and love the parts list and attention to detail, it shows in the power numbers.

Let us know what it makes on the dyno now!

Oh and thanks for all the pics of the heads, that port work is beautiful

No, they are cts 4 piston. The ears are bigger than the ats for putting a 14" rotor from the vette.

Thanks brother. It took some time learning here, from books and people.

The heads are awesome. TEA is really good porting. And for a oem head the headflow is awesome. The heads have titanium valves Wich I buy on eBay from a Nascar set.

Yes. Tea nail it on the heads. Importantly to note that the heads were ported before. That's why in the pics you see there are parts that the cnc dint touch and that's cause the before port touch deeper in those parts. Also it has del west ti Valves Wich are a ton lighter than stock. Btr springs.

Really what's holding me now is the oem intake even if it's ported. But let's see how much powa I make with it. Don't know the most hp someone has make on oem intake but I'm close.

Dyno time is hold until the cuarantine. Government here out stop to non essential things and the Dyno don't cualified as important. Currently the cuarantine is until next month.

Currently I'm doing the miles to break in even if I already did the rings break in.

Little update.

Finish the break in time. 400 miles. The car had different tires. Summimoto, bfgoodrich in the front and autocross slicks in the back. I put today a new set of Nt05 in all 4. 275/40/17 in front, 285/30/18 in the rear. Tires are a night and day difference now. Better handling and braking. Haven't step on her.

Also I buy a LMC centerforce clutch and a lightweight flywheel from act. The ls7 clutch that I have is heavy and I feel it in the acceleration. Even with the lightweight damper.

That is in backorder from summit, I will let you know when it arrives.
After installing the clutch I will tune it.

Shipping to Puerto Rico is pricey.

Today I take her out for a drive and went to see if the elite engineering catch can was doing its job. I cut a water bottle in half and open the valve. Just amazing how much oil was there from just 400miles. I fill one cup and another half one!!! This is the best catch can. And to think that all that oil was going to to to my precious tea chambers!!!

Props to Elite for designing this awesome catch can.

Hi,

Today I put an Centerforce LMC ( light metal clutch), act lightweight flywheel, new slave, tick remote bleeder, tick new short shift shifter, bronze bushing and summit ball.

I had am ls7 clutch but even with the lightweight ati damper the engine rev slow. I wanted to put a lighter clutch assembly and after reading a lot I made my move.

I have to install the tick master now cause it's letting 1/2" from the floor but the motor now revs so freely I love it.

Don't know why people advise against lightweight clutches and flywheel. I daily a miata that comes stock with lightweight clutch, have driven cobras R, integra R, and dz 302 with 15lbs flywheel. The stock weight in our cars is way heavy!!! Even more a damn ls7 58lbs clutch.

Thanks to Zach from tick and big thanks to HioSSilver from here, I read all his info here and in private messages I made him, he is very knowledgeable.

LMC clutch. 7 LBS lighter than stock

Billet aluminum inside.

Shiny

Act chrome Molly flywheel. 14lbs.

Tick short trow shifter. Put a new bronze shifter.

I love the way is inclined towards the driver for better shifts.

Bronze bushing

Installed

Thanks for the shout out. Ive been preaching lightweight clutches for years. My entire clutch,pp and fly weighs 16lb. Idk why guys are so terrified of them . Like you said....your miata clutch is light right from the factory.

Just curious, did you have to run lash caps with the Del West titanium valves? Thanks
