Behind the bolt hole is a water passage. Someone probably put a bolt in that was too long at some point. Clean it all up and put some sealer on the bolt. Should be good to go.

Really Its that easy on a boosted engine, I never drained the coolant before?

"Boosted" doesn't really make any difference.

Somebody either put in a bolt that was too long and busted through, or drilled too deep to Heli-Coil the hole, or something like that; and hit the water jacket. Not a big deal, not related in any way to "boost". As said, put some thread sealer on the bolt and put it back in, should be fine.

If you're the one that busted it out, maybe get a shorter bolt.

OK I think the hole is stripped, should I plug the hole first then resize the hole, for a tap? These were stock bolts. Sorry for the questions, but really stressed, thinking I have to pull the head, Thanks

Just a simple helicoil or timesheet if the hole is stripped. Depending on the bolt location, you may be able to get in there with an angle drill.

OK Thank you very much I thought I caused something very bad, it was stressful, but seems like an easy fix, going to drain the coolant, Probably going to go up a bolt size from an M8 to M9, it has to be modified from an M10. With a tap set.

You will REGRET changing the bolt size. That makes a big mess you have to fight for all eternity in ways that are hard to even imagine in the moment of lazying out.

Just heli-coil it back to the right size, put high-temp sealer on the bolt threads, and be done with it.

Been there with the angle drill. it sucks, but less so than pulling the head.

Update: ok well tried resizing that bolt like the others, but I didnt want to push it to far, so oem M8 is back on thank God its holding 18 ft lbs with red high temp rtv, letting it cure for 24hrs, then adding coolant in the am, Thanks for all your helps.

By the way I have 2 M9 bolts holding the headers real well, 2nd from far left and lowest one in the middle.
