I didn’t mean to say thick, I meant to say it appeared regular, without foreign fluids.

Plenty of reading there, among other places. Cliff notes is the XP is pointless for a performance engine because you're going to fuel foul your oil long before a typical OCI, in addition to the regular filter just being better at actually being a filter.

I also feel that it has something to do with the cam/heads swap. O-ring on pickup tube,cam retainer plate, pump installation, etc.
